Pilgrim to Pioneer Days: Your students will enjoy a fun and interactive walk-through history lesson.  Students will rotate through stations that include the Native American Station, Pilgrim Corn Grinding Station, Thanksgiving Feast Station, Log Cabin Pioneer Station, Pioneer Covered Wagon Station, Petting Zoo and Goat Feeding Station and they'll enjoy a hay ride around the ranch, and play time in the corn box and on the giant jumping pillow.

The "Explore Georgia" Corn Maze: Students will learn about crop production and discover all of the items that are made with corn.  They'll enjoy the challenge of our corn field maze and work as teams to find their way through the challenging labyrinth.  By answering trivia  questions about Georgia's geography, historic places and famous people, students will be led down the correct path and out of the maze.  This curriculum based activity will teach students a great deal about our great students in a fun, interactive manner.  This field trip also includes a station that teaches all about Georgia's wildlife and it includes a hay ride and time to play on the jump

The Moo News on Field Trips at The Rock Ranch:

The Rock Ranch is a 1,250 acre working cattle ranch located in The Rock, GA and owned by Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy. Children of all ages will enjoy the "Agrication" that only a real ranch can offer.

Our tours educate visitors about nature's wonders in a hands-on atmosphere that supplements classroom curriculum.  It is our pleasure to work with teachers prior to their visit in order to maximize the students' experience at The Rock Ranch.

In addition to offering educational field trips for school groups, we offer seasonal activities for everyone.  Call for more information on corporate picnics, reunions, conestoga camp-outs, Celebrate America and Fall Family Fun days featuring The Rock Ranch corn maze.
